Fall Program: Miss Melissa's In-Home Preschool

So I know a lot of this blog thusfar has been dedicated to my summer program because... well... summer is closer than fall :-P
But I wanted to remind everyone that I AM enrolling for fall. This program will be different from my summer program because this is a Pre-Kindergarten program. Children must be 3 to enter the program. (They must be 3 before July 1, 2011). Childrens' birthdays must fall between June 2006-March 2008. (This includes children who were JUST at the cut off date for kindergarten, but not "older" fives.) My goal is to keep all children as close in age as possible so that my instruction is as beneficial as possible. :)
I will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30-2:30.
Each day, we'll start off with educational and interactive centers. These will usually focus around our unit of study that we're working on at that time. I will change the centers every week. These centers will be individual activities that encourage math, reading and writing, art, and play. They'll include things like: puzzles, games, math activities, matching, sorting, and graphing activities, and more.
Each day, we will work on reading, writing, math, science, bible, and art. We will also have outdoor or indoor play (I have an indoor play area for inclement weather; otherwise we will play outside). We will have lunch and a short rest period to wind down from our day (and for children to nap if they need to).
This program is designed to not only prepare children for Kindergarten, but to allow them to reach their potential. As a teacher, I take whatever a child can do on their own and constantly move them one step further. That's what I'm there for is to guide them until they can acheive it on their own.
I don't expect my students, even when close in age, to be on the same levels. Levels of maturity are always going to vary physically, emotionally, and academically. Each child will get one-on-one attention with me each week as well as group instruction.
Tuition will be $350/month with a $175 registration fee to hold your child's spot. Once your registration fee is paid and your papers are filled out, your child's spot is theirs and cannot be given to anyone else.
Our first week of school will be September 6th. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at m_adams73@hotmail.com!
I look forward to a great year with our prekindergarteners! :D

Ms. Melissa
